Blue Planet-works, Inc. announced that it will enter into a capital and business alliance agreement for private placement of common shares for gross proceeds of ¥300 million on May 20, 2020. The transaction will include participation from new investor PCI Holdings, Inc. (TSE:3918). The transaction is expected to close on May 29, 2020. The company will issue securities through third party allotment method. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the investor.
PCI Holdings, INC. is a Japan-based company principally engaged in the information services business. The Company operates in three segments. The Technical Solutions segment is engaged in the software development business. The Business Solutions segment is engaged in the construction of information technology (IT) systems, the provision of solutions utilizing packaged software products planned and developed by the Company, the operation and maintenance of systems, as well as the purchase and sale of other hardware, among others. The Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Everything (IoE) Solutions segment is engaged in the provision of IoT and IoE solutions. The Company is also involved in the dispatching of information technology (IT) engineers.
