ParkerVision, Inc. announced that it has named Frank Newman and Paul Rosenbaum to its Board of Directors, expanding the Board to nine members, seven of whom are independent. Mr. Newman has served as Deputy Secretary of the U.S.Treasury; Chairman and CEO of Shenzhen Development Bank; Chairman and CEO of Bankers Trust; and CFO of Bank of America and of Wells Fargo Bank. He currently serves as Chairman of Promontory Financial Group China Ltd. Mr. Newman has previously served as a director for major public companies in the U.S., U.K., and China, and as a member of the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Hall. Mr. Rosenbaum is the CEO of SWR Corporation. He served as CEO and Chairman of Rentrak Corporation from 2000 to 2009 and served as the non-executive Chairman of Rentrack for two additional years.
ParkerVision, Inc. is engaged in the business of fundamental wireless technologies and products. The Company has designed and developed proprietary radio frequency (RF) technologies and integrated circuits based on those technologies, and it licenses the Companyâs technologies to others for use in wireless communication products.
