Any proxy votes which are at the discretion of the Chairman have been included in the "for" total. A vote withheld is not a vote in law and is not counted in the calculations of votes cast by proxy.
At the date of the AGM the total number of Ordinary shares of 12.5p each in issue and the total number of voting rights was 120,958,386.

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.2, the full text of the special business resolutions passed has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism. The special business resolutions will also be filed at Companies House.
Pacific Assets Trust plc (the Trust) is a United Kingdom-based externally managed investment trust. The Trustâs investment objective is to achieve long-term capital growth through investment in selected companies in the Asia Pacific region and the Indian sub-continent, but excluding Japan, Australia and New Zealand (the Asia Pacific Region). Up to a maximum of 20% of the Trust's total assets (at the time of investment) may be invested in companies incorporated and/or listed outside the Asia Pacific Region (as defined). It invests principally in listed equities and other securities, including preference shares, debt instruments, convertible securities and warrants. In addition, it invests in open and closed-ended investment funds and companies.
