Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (TSE:8031) entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire 29.44% stake in Ouro Fino Saúde Animal Participações S.A. (BOVESPA:OFSA3) on September 8, 2022. are subject to the implementation of conditions precedent stipulated by and between the parties, including the approval of the Transaction by antitrust authorities, such as the Administrative Council for Economic Defense. Banco BTG Pactual S.A. (BOVESPA:BPAC3) acted as a financial advisor to BNDES Participações S.A. - BNDESPAR.
Ouro Fino Saude Animal Participacoes S.A., also known as Ourofino, is a Brazil-based company engaged in the animal health market business sector in Latin America. The Company manufactures veterinary products using scientific technology in the Company's laboratories. The Company's products are divided into six sectors: Wholesale, Birds, Cattle, Equine, Pet and Pigs. The Wholesale area is divided into four lines: Anti-Mastiticos, producing antibiotics killing bacteria and lumps; Antimicrobial, which focuses on the treatment of bacterial infectious diseases; Ectoparasiticides, concentrated on insect repellent products, and Endectocides, which is the treatment and control of internal and external diseases of cattle, sheep and swine parasites.
