Successful Launch of the OTRS Business Solution™ - Upgrade Now for Free

It's been worth the wait! On January 19th, 2015 we successfully launched the OTRS Business Solution™. From now on, OTRS contract customers can upgrade to the new solution for free. How? By clicking on the new option "OTRS Business Solution" in the Admin menu of their OTRS version 4.0 or higher in the section "System Administration" to register their system. After that, the OTRS team will take care of everything. Based on OTRS Free 4, the OTRS Business Solution™ offers additional cloud services, such as the chat feature, the Ticket Timeline View inspired by Facebook, and the possibility of viewing, storing and updating data from external databases in a dynamic field in the ticket with the Dynamic Field Database feature. In addition, you can create global contact data independently from the OTRS Customer Information Center, for example to invoice a partner company or subsidiary. You can also add or deselect additional, freely selectable OTRS Business Solution™ Features such as Ticket Allocation, Ticket Forms or Ticket Workflow according to your requirements. The new solution package is completed by professional consulting for implementing or optimizing your OTRS, as well as reliable services from our service team.

Now available: OTRS 4 Patch Level 5 and the OTRS::ITSM Feature 4 Patch Level 5

As of last week, the new patch level release  "OTRS 4 Patch Level 5" is available and can be downloaded for free. In addition to updated translations, it also offers an updated stop word list in the SysConfig that will improve the performance of the StaticDB fulltext index. We were also able to fix some bugs, causing, for example, the general navigation selection in overviews to reset when using the "Delete Filter" feature, as well as problems with email decryption.
