(Alliance News) - Olidata Spa on Wednesday announced that it has signed an agreement with Meridian for the distribution of a Threat Intelligence platform.

The agreement includes an exclusive for the national territory in the perimeter of PAC and PAL Customers. Meridian is an international company specializing in cyber intelligence services.

"The agreement, of high strategic value for the Olidata Group, aims to pool specific expertise and create a national defense space; a strategic generation process understood as an inter-functional activity capable of integrating organization and production," as the company explained in a note.

Specifically, the solution, called Kitsune, is an advanced Made in Italy Cyber Digital Intelligence platform designed to offer organizations comprehensive and proactive protection from digital threats. Kitsune Platform, which specializes in collecting and correlating information from more than 50,000 OSINT sources, monitors the web, darknet and social media to identify potential threats in real time.

On Wednesday, Olidata closed 1.2 percent in the red at EUR0.58 per share.
