Northwest Natural Holding Company Appoints Sandra McDonough to the Board of Directors, Effective January 1, 2022

Northwest Natural Holding Companys board of directors has elected a new member, Sandra McDonough, effective January 1, 2022. McDonough most recently served as president and CEO of Oregon Business & Industry (OBI), Oregons largest statewide general business organization. She joined OBI in 2018, after serving 14 years as the president and CEO of the Portland Business Alliance, greater Portlands chamber of commerce. Prior to her time leading the PBA, McDonough spent two decades in the energy industry, including as Vice President, External Affairs, for PG&E National Energy Group and Vice President, Communications and External Affairs, for PG&E Gas Transmission Northwest, in California. Before that she was a newspaper reporter for The Oregonian and Seattle Times.
Northwest Natural Holding Company is a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, provides natural gas services. Its subsidiary, Northwest Natural Gas Company (NW Natural), distributes natural gas to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Oregon and southwest Washington. NW Natural operates through the Natural Gas Distribution (NGD) segment. The NGD segment provides natural gas service through approximately 799,000 meters in Oregon and southwest Washington. The NGD segment serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Its other business activities include certain gas storage activities, water and wastewater businesses, non-regulated renewable natural gas activities and other investments and activities. It has a diverse portfolio of short, medium, and long-term firm gas supply contracts and a variety of contract types including firm and interruptible supplies as well as supplemental supplies from gas storage facilities.
