LEWISTON, Maine (AP) _ Northeast Bancorp (NBN) on Monday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $4.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Lewiston, Maine-based company said it had profit of 53 cents.

The holding company for Northeast Bank posted revenue of $21.6 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $16.9 million.

Northeast Bancorp shares have decreased 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $20, a climb of roughly 10% in the last 12 months.
