North Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the nine months ended September 30, 2020. For the nine months, the company announced sales was CNY 1,677.254 million compared to CNY 1,751.526 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 73.767 million compared to CNY 116.122 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 69.521 million compared to CNY 108.176 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.1266 compared to CNY 0.197 a year ago.
North Chemical Industries Co Ltd is a China-based company mainly engaged in the manufacturing and sale of chemical raw materials and chemical products. The Company operates through three businesses. The cellulose and its derivatives business includes three series, four wetting agents and more than 80 brands of nitrocellulose products. The chemical defense and environmental protection business produces activated carbon deep adsorption purification devices and environmental protection equipment mainly based on regeneration, including activated carbon and catalysts, protective equipment and environmental protection equipment. The special industrial pump business is engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, sale and service of slurry pumps and industrial pumps. The Company mainly conducts business in domestic and foreign markets.
