Nordecon and the Centre for Defence Investment of Estonia entered into a contract for services for construction of an assembly area in the Defence Forces base in Tapa. The works will commence in January 2019 and the scheduled delivery date of the works is in January 2020. The cost of the contract amounts to 10.7 million euros plus value added tax.

'Nordecon has built several military structures for the Defence Forces base in Tapa in the last few years, commissioned by the Ministry of Defence. This is a very specific area of construction works, and the experience gained in this area is useful in all other areas. I believe that thanks to our good cooperation with the contracting entity and rich previous experience, the construction works will progress as scheduled and we will be able to hand over the finished assembly area to the contracting entity in one year's time,' said Ando Voogma, Board Member of Nordecon AS.

Various buildings and structures will be built in the assembly area of the Defence Forces base in Tapa, such as universal halls for accommodation, catering, and for repairing technology, as well as roads, camping areas, trestles, etc. Location of the construction works: Lääne-Viru County, Tapa Parish, Tapa, 35 Loode St., 45106

Nordecon has previously built a catering complex (2017), four barracks (2016-2018), maintenance and study halls, a repair works hall, and shelters (2017-2018) for the Defence Forces base in Tapa.
