Neuberger Berman New York Municipal Fund Inc. is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide a high level of current income exempt from federal income tax and New York State and New York City personal income taxes. The Fund invests approximately 80% of its total assets (including proceeds from the issuance of any preferred stock and the proceeds of any borrowings for investment purposes) in securities of municipal issuers that provide interest income that is exempt from federal income tax and New York State and New York City personal income taxes. The Fund may invest in all types of municipal bonds, including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, and pre-refunded bonds. Its portfolio of investments includes states and territories, such as Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, and Minnesota. Neuberger Berman Investment Advisers LLC is the investment manager of the Fund.
