National Development Bank PLC reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported net interest income was LKR 8,717.34 million compared to LKR 5,724.26 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 2,367.44 million compared to LKR 936.19 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 5.9279 compared to LKR 2.6928 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 5.9279 compared to LKR 2.6928 a year ago.
For the full year, net interest income was LKR 31,130.37 million compared to LKR 21,741.3 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 3,008.74 million compared to LKR 6,904.26 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 7.536 compared to LKR 19.8675 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 7.536 compared to LKR 19.8675 a year ago.
