Nacon gained ground on the Paris stock exchange on Tuesday after promising a 2023-2024 fiscal year rich in editorial activity, with some twenty games to be released, compared with 13 in the previous fiscal year.

The video game group points out that the first half of the year will see the release of the eagerly awaited 'The Lord of the Rings Gollum', as well as 'RoboCop: Rogue City', 'Cricket24' and 'Rugby24', the official game of the Rugby World Cup, which will take place in September.

On the strength of these forthcoming releases, Nacon reaffirms its confidence in its strong growth prospects for fiscal 2023-24.

For the full 2022-2023 fiscal year, which ended in March, sales came in at 156.4 million euros, up 0.3% despite the postponement of several major games.

In terms of earnings, the company says it anticipates at this stage a decline in operating income before non-recurring items compared with the previous year, while operating income and net income are up.

Citing a "low" valuation and speculative interest in the stock, analysts at Invest Securities this morning reiterated their buy recommendation on the share, with a price target raised from 3.3 to 3.5 euros.
