Mitre Mining Corporation Limited Appoints Raymond Shorrocks as A Non-Executive Director

Mitre Mining Corporation Limited announced that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of the issued capital of Bellpark Park Minerals Pty Ltd. (Acquisition), which is the owner of the East Pilbara and Mount Alexander Lithium Projects (Projects). Coinciding with the completion of the Acquisition, MMC has appointed Mr. Raymond Shorrocks as a Non-Executive Director. Mr. Shorrocks has over 28 years' experience working in the investment banking industry.

He is highly conversant and experienced in all areas of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets, including a significant track record of transactions in the metals and mining sectors. He was past Chairman of ASX listed Bellevue Gold Limited and Republic Gold Limited. Mr. Shorrocks is currently the Executive Chairman of Auteco Minerals Limited, Non-Executive Chairman of Cygnus Gold Limited, Alicanto Minerals Limited and Galilee Energy Limited and a number of private companies.

Mr. Shorrocks is former Director and Head of the Corporate Finance department of a major Australian investment services company based in Sydney.

Mitre Mining Corporation Limited is an Australia-based mining exploration company. The Company is engaged in exploration and development of properties in the gold and rare earth minerals industry. Its projects include Araluen Project, Bateman project, East Pilbara Project and Mt Alexander Project. Its project is located in the mineral province of the eastern Lachlan Fold Belt near Batemans Bay on the New South Wales (NSW) southern coast. The area contains numerous historical mines, such as Dargues Gold Mine, Moruya Gold Mine and Bimbimbie group of mines. The Araluen Project area covers over 230 square kilometers (km2) and abuts and covers the southern extents of the Braidwood Granodiorite, host of the Dargues Gold mine. The Bateman project area contains over 138 km2 of tenure and represents the northern extension to the highly prospective Moruya Goldfields. The Mt Alexander Project (E29/1167) is located on the western margin of the prospective Mt Alexander greenstone belt (GSB).
