The display offers support for night vision googles and comes with an integral heater and internal temperature sensors. Other features include:

  • Low-voltage differential signaling digital video interface.
  • High resolution and low surface reflection.
  • Zero luminance degradation over service life.
  • Day/night mode backlight.
  • 97% National Television System Committee color gamut.

"Our goal is to offer safety-certified high-performance displays for both commercial and military applications with customer-focused design and product management," Ike Song, VP and general manager, Mercury's Mission Systems product line, said in the release. "Unlike typical commercial display companies, we have design and configuration control over the entire AMLCD, and we offer a 10-year product availability roadmap, all in support of our commitment to making commercial technology profoundly more accessible to aerospace and defense."
