Max Petroleum Plc announced that it has completed drilling the SAGW-11 appraisal well in the Sagiz West Field to a vertical depth of 1,429 metres without encountering sufficient hydrocarbons to be commercial and it will be plugged and abandoned. The Zhanros ZJ-30 rig will next move to drill the SAGW-10 well, one of three wells remaining in the current appraisal programme at Sagiz West.
