Max Healthcare Institute Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 13,631.6 million compared to INR 11,394.4 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 14,086.4 million compared to INR 11,629.4 million a year ago. Net income was INR 2,766.8 million compared to INR 4,573.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.85 compared to INR 4.72 a year ago. Max Healthcare Institute Limited is an India-based integrated healthcare provider. The Company operates through a single segment, which is Medical and Healthcare Services. It provides a wide array of services ranging from primary to quaternary care, including advanced cardiac care, orthopedics, oncology, neurosciences, transplants, minimal access metabolic and bariatric surgery, and other services, including obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nephrology. The Company also provides outpatient services, including consultations for a range of ailments, preventive health screenings, and laboratory services as well as radiology, imaging and emergency services. The Company has two strategic business units (SBUs): Max Lab and Max@Home. The Company owns and operates approximately 17 healthcare facilities across the Delhi national capital region (NCR), Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra. Max Lab offers diagnostic services to patients outside its network.
