Marriott International is planning to debut its Aloft Hotels brand in Ireland through a franchise agreement with Blackpitts Hospitality. The new eight-storey, 202-room Aloft Dublin City hotel is slated to open in 2018 and will be located in Dublin's 'Liberties' quarter. It will be operated by Dublin-based Pembroke Hospitality, which provides advisory services and hotel management to the hospitality industry. The property will also feature a Re:charge fitness centre; Re:fuel by Aloft, a 24-hour deli option as well as two meeting spaces supported by an 'In-Touch' business area. It will be completely facilitated by fast and free Wi-Fi. The ground level houses two independently operated retail spaces with direct access from the street. On-site parking facilities will also be available for hotel guests and visitors.Guests can check inside the rooms using the SPG Keyless entry system which allows them to use their smartphone or Apple watch as a room key.Aloft Dublin City will join Marriott International's existing Irish portfolio which currently consists of four hotels operating under the Autograph Collection, Renaissance Hotels, Sheraton and Westin brands respectively.
