Marmagoa Steel Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing of special steel. The Company is involved in the manufacture and sale of special steel billets, rounds, hexagons and spring steel flats for automobile and railway applications. The Company manufactures alloy and special steel through the Electric Arc Furnace route to produce alloy steel billets, flats and rounds. The billets produced are for captive consumption for re-rolling. The main product of the Company is spring steel flats, which is a component for manufacture of leaf spring used in automobiles. The Company also caters to defense sector. The Company has set up a steel plant in Goa, on the West Coast of India. Chandor Engineering & Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd is the holding company of the Company.
