MALDEN, Missouri, January 12, 2023 - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, Inc. (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Walmart, a 43,770-square-foot net-leased property located in Malden, Missouri, according to Grant Fitzgerald, regional manager of the firm's Cleveland and Columbus offices. The asset sold for $2,937,500.
Jared Shapiro, Craig Fuller, Erin E. Patton and Scott Wiles, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Cleveland and Columbus offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company, private investor. The buyer, a limited liability company, was secured and represented by Jared Shapiro, Craig Fuller, Erin E. Patton and Scott Wiles. David Saverin, Missouri Broker of Record, assisted in closing this transaction.
Walmart is located at 1007 N Douglass Street in Malden, Missouri. The property has five years remaining on the lease and closed as an all-cash transaction, with a very competitive bidding process.
