Today we announced a meaningful expansion of our partnership with Carrefour, one of the world's largest retailers. As part of this multi-year, global deal, LiveRamp Safe Haven will power secure data collaboration and analytics for Carrefour Links, a set of customer experience and personalization solutions being co-developed by Carrefour, LiveRamp, Criteo and Google. This partnership will span nine markets - France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Poland, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan - with ATS underpinning the global expansion.

We are very excited about this expanded partnership for a few key reasons: 1) it significantly accelerates our retail and CPG flywheel and allows LiveRamp to further penetrate the global CPG market, 2) it opens up new subscription revenue opportunities as we will co-sell this solution across Carrefour's entire supply chain, and finally 3) it catalyzes our continued international expansion.

Some additional detail: through Carrefour Links, Safe Haven enables Carrefour to partner more closely with its CPG partners across nine international markets to deliver enhanced data collaboration capabilities including:

  • Deeper Insights and Analytics一Packaged reports that provide robust insights into campaign performance, category management, and shopper analytics. Safe Haven also offers the ability for data science teams to utilize their own models and machine learning.
  • Omnichannel Activation一Activate CPG campaigns using Carrefour data across social and open web platforms and Carrefour owned-and-operated assets.
  • Better Measurement一CPGs can better understand the impact of marketing activities on sales utilizing retail data and move the needle to drive key business outcomes.

As Carrefour shared at RampUp (LiveRamp's premier industry event) in 2020, 'If retailers and brands want to generate growth, the prerequisite is to design a customer-centric ecosystem that rethinks the value exchange. We need to distribute new and more visible benefits to our customers: transactional benefits, stronger relationships, and new services.'
