Laxapana Batteries PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing of dry cell batteries in Sri Lanka in addition to AA and AAA batteries, compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) and light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs, as well as rechargeable torches. The principal business activities of the Company are importing and trading LED bulbs, dry cell batteries, rechargeable torches and industrial lighting products in the local market and distribution of hardware items. The Company markets LAXAPANA brand Zinc Chloride AA; AAA and 9V batteries; Alkaline AA and AAA batteries; LED bulbs, including Emergency lamps, LED Panel lights, LED Ceiling lights, LED Wall lamp, IP65 Water Proof Ceiling lights, WIFI Control Smart Ceiling lights, LED High Bay and Low Bay light, and industrial lights, among others. Its products are used across various applications, such as warehouse, manufacturing, cold storage, transportation, sports facilities, education, hospital, as well as office lighting.
