Lawson, Inc. (TSE:2651) intends to acquire the remaining 30% stake in Lawson Sanin, Inc. from Poplar Co., Ltd. (TSE:7601) for ¥3.5 billion on May 21, 2019. Under the terms, Lawson will acquire 4,285 shares of Lawson Sanin, Inc. for ¥821,704 per share. The transaction was resolved by the board of directors of Poplar on May 21, 2019.
The contract is expected to sign on May 24, 2019. The transaction is expected to close on May 31, 2019.
