Laurentian Bank of Canada announced that it has begun restructuring its senior management team, with François Desjardins officially becoming president and CEO on Nov. 1, 2015. Réjean Robitaille, current president and CEO, intends to retire, also effective Nov.

1, 2015. As part of the restructuring, the company's executive committee will be reduced to six members from nine members. Specifically, Deborah Rose, president and CEO of B2B Bank, was named chief information officer for Laurentian Bank of Canada; Stéphane Therrien, former executive vice president of business services, now serves as executive vice president of personal and commercial banking; Susan Kudzman, former senior vice president of human resources, now takes charge of risk management and corporate affairs, the company reported.
