NEWS Landstar Names Employees of the Month Jacksonville, Florida (NASDAQ-LSTR) Landstar System, Inc., a non-asset based provider of integrated supply chain solutions delivering safe, specialized transportation and logistics services, has named Brittany Amans, Lori Cowie and Janet White January Employees of the Month. Amans works out of the Rockford, Illinois, service center as a customer service coordinator for Landstar's SavingsPlus Program (LSP). She has been with Landstar since August of 2005. Amans was nominated for her positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks. She consistently steps up to meet any challenge. Cowie is a specialist in the Billing department at the Southfield, Michigan, service center. Cowie, who started in November 2010, was nominated for her ability to build positive relationships with customers and co-workers, willingness to assist others and her pleasant demeanor. White works out of the Jacksonville, Florida, service center as a staff accountant in the Accounting department. She has been with Landstar since November of 1999. She was recognized for her proactive approach to work, ability to help co-workers and positive attitude. Landstar Chairman, President and CEO Henry Gerkens commended Amans, Crowie and White on their recognition.
