2021 Annual Scholarship Golf Outing to be held September 28th

Oak Ridge, N.J., July 11, 2021 - Lakeland Bank was pleased to distribute over $165,000 in scholarships to high school seniors graduating from high schools in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Ocean, Union, and Warren counties in New Jersey and Orange County, New York. The funds were raised at the 2020 Annual Scholarship Golf Outing and also support college scholarship programs.

'Due to the continued success of the Bank's Annual Scholarship Golf Outing, we were able to present scholarships to over 100 local students who recently graduated high school,' said Thomas Shara, President and CEO of Lakeland Bank. 'We are proud of this long-standing tradition at Lakeland which provides the financial assistance many students need to pursue an education beyond high school.'

The scholarships are presented to students selected by their public or private school who have demonstrated academic success and have an interest in pursuing a higher education. Lakeland congratulates the students who were selected to receive a 2021 scholarship and encourages students entering their senior year to contact their Guidance department to learn how to apply for a 2022 Lakeland Bank Scholarship.

Lakeland Bank's 48th Annual Scholarship Golf Outing will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Crystal Springs Golf Resort in Hamburg, N.J.
