Lagis Enterprise Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 88.816 million compared to TWD 105.917 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 14.728 million compared to TWD 38.094 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 13.441 million compared to TWD 31.050 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.44 compared to TWD 1.06 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.44 compared to TWD 1.04 a year ago.
LAGIS ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based medical equipment manufacturer. The Company mainly produces three types of products: laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery consumables, instruments and equipment, as well as composite devices. The laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery consumables include puncture cannula, flushing tube, pneumoperitoneum and other related products. The instruments and equipment include tissue clamps, tractors, scissors, electric burning equipment, pressure presses, push knots, light source machines and other products. The composite devices include reclamation introduction casing set, wound spreader, wound spreader airtight cover and others. The other products include surgical training boxes, packaging materials, air filtration tubes, organ models and others. The Company's products are mainly sold to domestic area, Asian, European, African and other regions.
