Arnaud Lagardère, CEO of Lagardère SA, announced on Tuesday that he was appealing against his indictment and a provisional management ban, which will force him to resign from his executive mandates within the group.

In a press release, Arnaud Lagardère said he was contesting the indictment, which was issued on Monday evening on charges of "disseminating false or misleading information", "vote buying", "misuse of corporate assets" and "abuse of power", and "failure to file accounts".

He emphasized that the case "essentially concerns facts relating to personal companies that belong to him in their entirety and do not involve any Lagardère Group company". (Written by Jean-Stéphane Brosse, edited by Blandine Hénault)
