KGHM named Marcin Chludzinski as new CEO and two others to a new three-person management board and called off the open competition to the two lingering seats, according to a supervisory board decision cited in a market filing from the firm. Katarzyna Kreczmanska Gigol was named CFO and Radoslaw Stach was named VP for production. The ongoing competition for management posts was also to have named a board member for foreign assets and a board member for development.

That process was killed off, the filing claimed. All three were named to parallel three year terms. Chludzinski, the to-date chief of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP), had been widely reported to be a lead candidate for the position. The interim CEO Rafal Pawelczak and CFO Stefan Swiatkowski did not apply for the full-time regular post in the competition for the new board.
