Keppel Infrastructure Trust reported un-audited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of SGD 158.1 million compared to SGD 152.2 million, loss before joint venture of SGD 1.3 million compared to SGD 2.8 million, loss before tax of SGD 0.4 million compared to SGD 2.5 million, profit attributable to unitholders of SGD 9.6 million or 0.25 cents per basic and diluted share compared to SGD 7.7 million or 0.20 cents per basic and diluted share for the last year. Net cash generated from operating activities was SGD 28.4 million compared to SGD 15.4 million and purchase of property, plant and equipment was SGD 1.2 million compared to SGD 0.0 million for the last year. Profit attributable to unitholders of the Trust in fourth quarter 2017 was 25.4% higher than fourth quarter 2016 mainly due to higher contributions from City Gas in fourth quarter 2017. For the year, the company reported revenue of SGD 632.5 million compared to SGD 581.1 million, profit before joint venture of SGD 11.4 million compared to SGD 5.8 million, profit before tax of SGD 14.1 million compared to SGD 6.5 million, profit attributable to unitholders of SGD 47.6 million or 1.23 cents per basic and diluted share compared to SGD 41.2 million or 1.07 cents per basic and diluted share for the last year. Net cash generated from operating activities was SGD 82.2 million compared to SGD 84.2 million and purchase of property, plant and equipment was SGD 1.7 million compared to SGD 0.95 million for the last year. NAV per unit as at December 31, 2017 was 29.9 cents compared to 32.5 cents as at December 31, 2016. Net cash generated from operating activities lower than fiscal year 2016 due to timing difference in receipts and payments. The higher profit attributable to Unitholders in fiscal year 2017 as compared to fiscal year 2016 mainly arose from higher contributions from Basslink and City Gas. These were partially offset by abortive expenses incurred in connection with a potential acquisition, professional fees incurred for the Basslink outage and lower contribution from CityNet. Funds from operations was SGD 177.7 million compared to SGD 177.2 million for the last year.
