KCM Holdings Corporation recently announced completion of the Tribe's latest project, a new Tribal Government Center Complex. A dedication and blessing ceremony was held by the Tribe on June 1, 2012. The major Tribal project includes the Tribal Government Center and Administration Building, together totaling approximately 16,000-square-feet. These facilities house the Tribal Council offices, Tribal Council Chambers, legal and administrative offices, and offices for Tribal development, accounting, and support services. The new complex replaces the current government building, which is being demolished to make way for a road and infrastructure upgrade project needed to improve access and vital utility services to the Reservation. The new facility overlooks the Sycuan Reservation and includes a new parking area, extensive landscaping, and new underground utilities and infrastructure. The main building features a dramatic entrance with cast columns and a classic pediment, and a lobby with custom tile flooring and custom Japanese cherry millwork. Green construction methods and LEED design features are featured throughout the project.
