JC International Group Limited announced that it has signed a labour services contract for the Kuantan Joint Steel Wire Project part of the Kuantan Industrial Park, in Malaysia. Kuantan Project is part of the USD 1.4 billion steel plant, which is led by China Metallurgical Group. The company will provide labour and management services for the construction of the plant for an eight-month period. The value of the contract is AUD 12.7 million (RMB 67.5 million). As part of the contract, JCI will provide its advanced construction technology management system and expertise to the Kuantan Project, and will employ a combination of Chinese and South-East Asian workers.
