Notice Regarding Change in Trade Name and Corporate Name of Subsidiaries

Today, JPX subsidiary Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE) reached a decision to change its trade name at the board of directors' meeting, subject to approval at an extraordinary general shareholders meeting to be held on November 28, 2013. Similarly, today, subsidiary Tokyo Stock Exchange Regulation (TSE Regulation) reached a decision to change its corporate name at its board of governors meeting, subject to approval at an extraordinary general meeting of members to be held on October 23, 2013.
1. Reason
In line with efforts at JPX to consolidate the various market functions under its respective subsidiaries, on July 16,
2013 the cash equity markets were integrated into Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. and OSE entrusted self-regulatory operations to TSE Regulation. The derivatives markets will also be integrated into OSE in March 2014.
In consideration of the positions of OSE and TSE Regulation after assuming their respective functions in the corporate
group, the trade name and corporate name of these subsidiaries will be changed.
