Carlyle Group Reporltedy Mulls Acquistion Of It'S Skin From Han Bul Cosmetics

The Carlyle Group LP (NasdaqGS:CG) reportedly is seeking acquisition of It's Skin Co., Ltd. from Han Bul Cosmetics Co., Ltd. According to market insiders and media reports, Carlyle has offered around KRW 2 trillion for the deal, which is about 10 times It's Skin's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. The EBITDA is used to measure a company's profitability and ability to create cash flow. It's Skin, with its reported sales of KRW 370 billion, has become the main pillar of Habul, with reported sales of KRW 39.2 billion.
