IneedMD is building a global market for its breakthrough technology, The EKG Glove(TM). Founder Dr. Govindan Gopinathan recently met with General Steven Anderson (Ret.), now the CMO of global solutions provider Relyant, to discuss possible partnership opportunities. The EKG Glove(TM) is a new medical device that replaces the cables, electrodes and plugs traditionally used to perform an electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG).

It targets the growing problem of Hospital Acquired Infections while also reducing the nearly 1 in 3 error rate associated with manual lead placement. The EKG Glove(TM) uses 10 pre-positioned electrodes affixed to the underside of a glove-like sheath. The pre-printed conductive circuitry contained within the sheath never comes into contact with the patient.
