IHH Healthcare Berhad announces retirement of Tan Sri Mohammed Azlan Bin Hashim as Chairman Independent and Non Executive. Date of change is 28 May 2024. Age is 67.

Qualifications: Degree of Bachelor of Economics from Monash University, Professional Qualification as Fellow Member from Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia, Professional Qualification as Member from Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Professional Qualification as Fellow Member (Hon) from The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Working experience and occupation: Tan Sri Mohammed Azlan bin Hashim (Tan Sri Azlan) was appointed to the Board of IHH Healthcare Berhad in March 2011 as Deputy Chairman and was re-designated from Non-Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman to Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman on 1 January 2018. On 27 November 2018, Tan Sri Azlan was re-designated from Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman to Independent Non-Executive Chairman following his cessation as a nominee director of Khazanah Nasional Berhad.

Tan Sri Azlan also serves as Chairman, Investment Panel of Employees Provident Fund, a role he held since 1 September 2020. Tan Sri Azlan previously served as Board Member of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Employees Provident Fund, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, Executive Chairman of the (then) Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Group and in various other senior management roles at Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad and Amanah Capital Malaysia Berhad.
