BEIJING (AP) _ Huaneng Power International Inc. (HNP) on Tuesday reported a first-quarter loss of $150.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Beijing-based company said it had a loss of 57 cents per share.

The power producer posted revenue of $10.28 billion in the period.
