Announcement on the Appointment of Xia Yang as Non-Executive Director

On 21 June 2019, China Construction Bank Corporation (the "Bank" ) considered and approved the resolution at the 2018 Annual General Meeting in which Mr. Xia Yang was elected as a non-executive director of the Bank. The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission has approved the qualification of Mr. Xia Yang to hold office. The board of directors of the Bank hereby formally announces that Mr. Xia Yang was appointed as a non-executive director of the Bank.
