Hikari Holdings Co.,Ltd. (TSE:1445) acquired Ceramic1 Co., Ltd. from Daijiro Ishikawa, Yoshihiko Yamaguchi, Tatsuko Ishikawa, Yuta Ishikawa and Atsuko Ishikawa for ¥300 million on November 1, 2018. Under the terms, Hikari Holdings Co.,Ltd. acquired 200 shares of Ceramic1 Co., Ltd. wherein Daijiro Ishikawa sold 87% stake and the rest sold 13% stake. Following completion, Ceramic1 Co., Ltd became a subsidiary of Hikari Holdings Co.,Ltd. The Board of Directors of Hikari Holdings Co.,Ltd. passed the resolution to acquire the shares of Ceramic1 on November 1, 2018.

Hikari Holdings Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the tile & stone processing and sales business, construction material wholesale business, as well as telecommunications construction project business. The tile and stone mainly includes floor tiles and wall tiles, which are used for interior decoration. Construction Material Wholesale business sells imported building materials, such as Brook & Stone (brick), tile, mosaic, and involves import agency and warehouse management business. Telecommunications Construction Project business includes facility construction contracting work, temporary staffing work, and field support work.
