Mr. Darick Cheong has over 20 years of commercial and business management experience in various industries, notably in electronics and semiconductors, industrial adhesives and speciality films and substrates market segments. He started his sales career with Sumitomo Bakelite in 2000 as a sales engineer and later on with 3M as a senior sales engineer. He then joined Henkel (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as Global Accounts Manager in the Semiconductor Materials Division for about 4 years before he joined H.B. Fuller Adhesives Malaysia Sdn Bhd as Regional Global Accounts Manager in 2009. He was responsible for the industrial adhesives business segment for the Hygiene and Tobacco market segments for the SEA region. In 2012, he was appointed as Business Development Manager in HB Fuller for the business development in adhesives for the tobacco market segment in the Asia Pacific. Subsequently, he joined PPG Coatings (M) Sdn Bhd as Regional Business Manager in 2015 to lead and manage the sales, marketing and technical team in the Asia Pacific for the Teslin substrates business. He left PPG Coatings (M) Sdn Bhd in 2018 and joined Surfactor as Sales Director in the Asia Pacific region for resin impregnated papers/films for about 2 years, with one of the main focus on the plywood industries in the region. He then joined Air Products Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. as Business Director to lead the business of liquid bulk and tonnage gasses business in Malaysia, before he joins Hexza Corporation Berhad.
