Bigpoint Delivers Online Gaming to More Than 200 Million Users Worldwide with HP

HP unified wired and wireless network solutions support international business growth

HP today announced that Bigpoint GmbH, one of the leading online gaming networks in the world, has selected to support the growth of its rapidly expanding international business.

Based in Hamburg with offices in Berlin, San Francisco, São Paulo (Brazil) and Sliema (Malta), Bigpoint offers more than 70 online titles that span casual to complex multiplayer games. Rather than being downloaded or installed from a CD, all of Bigpoint's games can be accessed for free wherever internet access is available.

The company's global distribution network includes more than 1,000 media partners, localized into 25 languages. Bigpoint surpassed 200 million registered users worldwide in June 2011, doubling from 100 million users in less than 18 months.
