Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc. reported sales results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, sales were $215.0 million compared to $220.6 million a year ago. On a comparable store basis, sales for the quarter were down 3.5%. Comparable store sales do not include locations opened, closed or otherwise non-comparable during the last 12 months.
For the year, sales were $819.9 million compared to $821.6 million a year ago. On a comparable store basis, sales decreased 1.3% for the twelve months.
