The Washington Post announced that Terrie Lam was named Regional Head Asia-Pacific. Lam will be based in The Post's first Singapore office where she will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, managing the sales activities and working to build new content partnerships. Lam most recently worked at Forbes Media as Deputy Executive Director in charge of leading and growing sales revenues throughout Asia-Pacific through developing integrated communication strategies for branding partners. There she launched the inaugural Forbes Under 30 Summit Asia which gathered 250 of Asia's most promising young entrepreneurs, innovators and social leaders who are transforming business, technology and changing the fields in their respective industries. Prior to joining Forbes, Lam held a variety of senior roles at The Economist Group including Director of Southeast Asia. Earlier in her career she also worked for MTV Asia and Merrill Lynch M&A Singapore.
