Abanka Vipa, d.d. high ratio of non-performing loan (NPL) has raised expectations that it could initiate a sale process within the coming months. Gorenjska banka d.d., Kranj is also rumored to be considering putting some of its bad loans up for sale. Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor d.d. was also reportedly considering selling its NPLs, but its plans are unclear following its takeover by Apollo Global Management and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Marfin Investment Group Holdings S.A. and Piraeus Bank S.A. (ATSE:TPEIR) are also reportedly looking to sell NPL portfolios in Serbia. Meanwhile, as preparations to privatize Serbia's second largest lender Komercijalna banka a.d. Beograd (BELEX:KMBN) get underway, some of its loans could also be sold off.
