Good Will Instrument Co., Ltd. (TSEC:2423) agreed to acquire remaining 5.79% stake in Instek Digital, Inc on October 7, 2013. After the merger, Good Will Instrument will survive and Instek Digital Co., Ltd. will be dissolved. The transaction is expected to complete on December 1, 2013.

Good Will Instrument Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electrical testing instruments and equipment, as well as communication equipment. The Company provides electrical testing instruments, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, direct current (DC) power supplies, electrical loads, digital ammeters, withstand voltage/insulation/ground impedance testers, printed circuit board (PCB) in-line testers and spectrum analyzers, as well as communication products, including digital walkie-talkies, television walkie-talkies, security systems and public broadcasting systems. It distributes its products in mainly Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan and Europe.
