Golden Band Announces Resignation of CFO

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, January 6, 2015 . Golden Band Resources Inc. ("Golden Band" or the "Company") (TSXV: GBN) announces the resignation of Mr. Jimmy Mah as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of the Company. Mr. Mah will be leaving to pursue other opportunities. The Board wishes to express their thanks to Mr. Mah for his contributions to the Company and wish him success in future endeavours.

The Company is actively seeking a replacement for Mr. Mah's position and will announce his successor in due course.

Golden Band Resources Inc. is a gold producer operating in the La Ronge gold belt in northern Saskatchewan and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada under the symbol GBN. Commercial production was declared on April 1, 2011.
