GLOBALSTAR EUROPE SATELLITE SERVICES LTD. SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH GLOBE ELECTRONICS

Dublin, Ireland , January 03 2012- Globalstar Europe Satellite Services Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Globalstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: GSAT) and a leading provider of mobile satellite voice and data services to businesses, governments and consumers, today announced that Globe Electronics, a leading provider of maritime products and services, have become an official SPOT re-seller. Globe Electronics will act as a national re-seller for Globalstar´s suite of SPOT Messenger products to the marine and outdoor recreation markets within the French mainland territory via their established dealer network.

SPOT messenger devices, including SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger™ and SPOT Connect™ have initiated more than 1,500 emergency rescues worldwide. Many of these rescues resulted in lives being saved both on land and at sea. SPOT provides connectivity to adventurists, travellers´ and workers when spending time outdoors or travelling in remote areas. SPOT allows users to check-in and share their locations with their contacts back home. In life-threatening emergencies, users can send SOS messages with their GPS location to the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Centre (IERCC). Because SPOT uses 100% satellite technology, it works beyond the range of mobile phone towers and VHF radio.

"A large, complex and lucrative market like France requires a specialist re-seller," said Jim Mandala, General Manager, Globalstar Canada and Europe. "Thanks to their considerable dealer network, product knowledge and market awareness, Globe Electronics will be a valuable partner to Globalstar Europe, helping grow SPOT product distribution and availability throughout France".

"We are thrilled to distribute Globalstar´s SPOT Messenger product line for marine and outdoor needs," said Patrick Potiron, Globe Electronics Europe Sales Director. "The SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger™ and SPOT Connect™ are a natural fit with our expertise providing reliable tracking and rescue devices for both consumer and commercial applications".
