CIBT Education Group Inc. ("CIBT") announced a strategic rearrangement of the Sprott-Shaw Degree College Corp. executive team along with the addition of two new divisions. First is the appointment of Mr. Victor Tesan as the new president of Sprott Shaw College effective January 16, 2017. Mr. Tesan brings with him more than twenty years' experience in leadership and management in the private education sector including the development, strategic planning and management of overall college operations. Previously as vice president of Sprott Shaw College between 1994 and 2008 and, most recently, as president and chief operating officer, of Vancouver Career College and CDI College across Canada.

Concurrent with this appointment, the company announced that two new divisions will be formed: Sprott Shaw College International ("SSCI") and Sprott Shaw Language College ("SSLC"). SSCI is a transformation of current international department into a new division giving it more independence and flexibility to grow. During the past year, the international department has grown by a rapid 110%. The company said it is appointed Mr. Patrick Dang as the president of this new but very experienced division. New programs designed for international students will be planned for this division catering to the needs of the international markets. SSLC currently operates as a division of Sprott Shaw College under the name Vancouver International College ("VIC"). VIC will effect a name change to Sprott Shaw Language College and continue to be a division of Sprott Shaw College. Mr. Steve Sohn will continue to be the president of SSLC, leading this division which has grown by 15% since joining group in July 2016.
