ANCHORAGE, Alaska - GCI, Alaska's largest communications and technology company, announced today that Jason Tomberlin will be promoted to director of GCI Education, within GCI's Government, Healthcare & Education team, effective Jan. 16, 2018.

In his new role, Tomberlin will be responsible for the GCI Education program, providing strategic management, operational execution, revenue growth, and marketing efforts associated with the education market segment.

Tomberlin's new role strengthens GCI's commitment to be a true partner with education customers, knowing their business and providing services, so they can concentrate on their main goal - educating Alaskans.
