Symantec Corporation : Extendicare Health Services Takes eDiscovery In-House with Symantec’s Enterprise Vault and Clearwell eDiscovery Platform

(Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that Extendicare Health Services, a provider of long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitation services and a wholly owned subsidiary of Extendicare REIT, Inc. (TSX: EXE.UN), has chosen Symantec for in-house eDiscovery. The combined solution helps Extendicare mitigate risk and reduce overall costs by creating a seamless, integrated archiving and eDiscovery management workflow.

Based in Milwaukee, WI, Extendicare Health Services (EHSI) operates 180 senior care facilities in the United States with approximately 17,700 beds. EHSI offers a continuum of health care services, including nursing care, assisted living and related medical specialty services, such as subacute care and rehabilitative therapy on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
